Speaking of dreams unhelpful as story ideas, a long time, (like 5-6 years ago) I dreamed that Plagueis won a Facebook poll/matchup thing. It was about the time of and probably inspired by this Star Wars characters voting match-off, but the poll in my dream had a problem different than Plagueis not being an eligible character: it was supposed to be a poll about local high school basketball teams!
