Taxes continued
As I mentioned earlier I have been working on my taxes early this year, prompted by the fact that the tax forms have been significantly revised this year and also my hope that I can avoid some of the anguish I usually experience by dragging this process out. I always prefer to file my taxes myself rather than pay a preparer to do it.
Today I transferred my draft of my federal taxes to the online software. I have not received any of my tax docs yet, so I may have to change some stuff since I am calculating from my existing records. But once I get those I can finalize my info.
Also the new schedules I mentioned are no longer in draft form. They are finalized now. I downloaded all six of them even though I will certainly not be needing all six of them haha. But I generally like to understand as much about taxes as possible, even things that don't apply to me.
