Socializing

I am often frustrated by my difficulty with socializing.  I don't know how common or unusual those difficulties may be, but they can be irritating regardless.  I do know that I'm not so good with socializing if I'm not in the right frame of mind.  Sometimes I have difficulty engaging with others at all, and sometimes with certain social interactions I think it might have been better if I hadn't made the attempt at all...

The problem being that when I don't express anything at all, I may leave uncertainty where I'd rather not. But also due to the fact that I often avoid social interactions, I feel it's easy to mess up if I do actually socialize.

For most things, I don't mind making mistakes to get better, but it's hard for me to avoid feeling that I just shouldn't make mistakes when I socialize. It's something I have to accept, though, since I don't just want to avoid talking to anyone at all.
