I Want Out

I think the stuck inside aspect of self-quarantining is really starting to get to me.  I was really used to being outside a lot, but it's also easier for me to get myself to do something like go outside if it's to accomplish a task.  But I try to avoid going out these days for tasks if at all possible.  Also I always feel apprehension if I go outside without a mask these days even though my understanding is that outside is much lower risk than indoors.  Part of it is that it is sometimes hard for me to avoid people given the terrain in certain areas near where I live.  Like even when I go outdoors these days I feel so restricted and confined.  Also anxious.

The good news is I've been slowly adapting to getting more exercise indoors, so hopefully that will continue to improve so my muscles don't completely atrophy haha.

Oof I feel this a lot. The outside risk is definitely much less, but given that other people practice social distancing and masking so poorly its just...better to wear a mask in the end if forced to go out. And staying inside is just not feasible! Our poor brains are really not designed to deal with it at all past individual-specific thresholds.
