Mastodon is too much like Twitter to be my main social media, but I do really like the underlying architecture, and the fact that anyone with a server can host their own mastodon instance, and can interact with people on other mastadon instances, and it's an open protocol like email, so it's truly decentralized. I think that has huge potential and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.
