Just posting this since it might be of interest to people trying to make sure the companies they buy chocolate from aren't using child slavery and also that they are paying a fair wage:

This has both a long list of chocolate providers they recommend and a list they don't. There's some other lists, too.
Anyway, I'm always trying to find out more about stuff like this. Ultimately, I don't think issues like this should be thought of as simply a consumer choice issue, because I don't think companies should be allowed to use these kind of exploitive practices in the first place. But since I can't exactly stop companies from doing that, I just try to avoid them when I reasonably can.
