Fandoms: Star Wars and Legend of Zelda are the ones I've talked about the most.  I enjoy a fairly wide range of sci-fi and fantasy stories, though, and would love to discuss some of them more.

Two-shot: I have never done one of these, no.

Most popular multi-chapter:
Cut Strings! My Grievous fanfic!  Probably because it's essentially an AU version of The Clone Wars which seems to be a very popular jumping-off point for fanworks, and some of the main and secondary characters are extremely popular Star Wars characters.  Also I think there's maybe not much Grievous fanfic, and there's certainly not a lot of canon works that feature Grievous, so maybe it Fills a Niche for some people who probably don't get to see their fave feature much in stories.

There are also some tonal differences in my longfic, though I feel these can actually be rather subtle.  This one is maybe a little less serious than Ascent (which certainly doesn't always take itself seriously, though), but moreso than Heart of Shadow (which still has its more serious parts).  So maybe for a lot of people this story hits just the right notes of serious and humorous.  As for me, I love all three--they all fulfill a unique niche for me, but I think this could be one factor for how other people view these stories.

It's also the case that Cut Strings is my middle fic, so it's had more time (and chapters) to accumulate readers than Heart of Shadow, but at the same time I was also able to use what I learned writing Ascent to make some improvements to my writing process.

Actual worst part of writing:
Why do I have to write description, ever?  I often get so absorbed in what characters are thinking and doing and saying that I neglect to describe what they, or anything they interact with, looks or smells or feels or tastes like.  The fact that any description exists in my works at all is only because I'm a bizarre weirdo who loves editing and sometimes during that process I notice I haven't described anything in like 5 pages of text haha.

Do you outline: sometimes

Ideas I probably won’t get around to but wouldn’t it be nice: A longfic follow-up to my one-shot Rescue.  Would basically follow around the Ghost crew and be an AU version of Rebels, kind of like Cut Strings is an AU version of The Clone Wars.

Callouts @ me:  Mortal enemies with the concept of the deadline--I can work under and meet time constraints, but I resent them and I feel they largely have a very negative impact on the quality of my work.

Best writing traits: Choosing titles and writing dialogue.

Spicy tangential opinion: Hmmm.  These might all be [redacted] at the moment.  But I can give my coward's version of this, which is that it always makes me sad when people use exciting obscure Star Wars trivia to assert something in an analysis but then never say what the source was!!  Where did that happen?!  Don't just say that and leave!  Maybe I want to track down that novel/obscure tabletop game/comic myself and read it (yes, even if it's bad--maybe especially if it's bad).

Tagging: anyone who sees this and wants to do it!
