Issues With Social Media Norms

I think one of the big issues surrounding the way a lot of 'community' norms on social media are set up is that while they are often quite correct about there being a problem, and often even what the nature of that problem is, where I feel they often stumble is in identifying the source of the problem, the solution to the problem, or both.
