I finished Binti: The Night Masquerade today. Well, that was a lot! I'll be thinking about this story for a while, I'm sure. Reading reviews for this series, I could see that people had very different opinions on it. I think there's a lot of information packed into this at times deceptively simple story. And I think if someone just looks at the surface of the story, they could feel like there's not much to it or that it's lacking some vital part. But for me, this story felt complete by the end, and I believe I'll be thinking about it for a long time. I found The Night Masquerade especially intense, deeply surprising, and a worthy ending to the trilogy. It's a story about tradition and change, about peace and war, about bravery, and about love.
