Really wish there was a greater understanding that science is a tool to understand how the world works and what we can expect from it, and not a moral framework.  There is no inherent moral value in science, being a scientist, or doing science.  Science can be applied to accomplishing certain goals.  Science cannot inform anyone on what goals they should be trying to accomplish.

I had a perfectly ripe mango today (technically yesterday) and I am still stunned by that exquisite experience.

Sometime I want to look into the World's Healthiest Foods site (http://www.whfoods.com/) more so I can get a better feel for what degree and kind of of biases and inaccuracies I should expect from them.  I think there's no such thing as perfectly correct and accurate information, especially on the topic of how healthy different foods are, but I do think some places are better than others.  I think possibly this site doesn't have as high a bar for proving scientific research as perhaps some places do, but in terms of quantity of information I find it pretty impressive and some of the information at least seems to line up closely with the most reputable sites I'm aware of that discuss these topics.

I really want Twitter to stop emailing me tweets from X or Y celebrity.  I don't care!  I don't follow these people, I don't ask to see their tweets, and I certainly don't need daily updates on whatever they may be saying on that cursed website.
