Yesterday I started reading Beasts of Burden: Animal and Disability Liberation by Sunaura Taylor.

My borage hasn't flowered, but it's gotten really big (several inches high). It's one of the most successful things I've grown from seed yet. All the seedlings except the mint (since I feel pretty confident the lone sprout in that pot is a sunflower and not mint) I planted earlier have sprouted. All that remains to be seen is how large they grow. My sprout mortality tends to be high. They're quite delicate at this stage, but I'm definitely interested in trying to get better at growing plants from seed.
