On Noticing Not Doing Things

I think a lot of the time people talk about not doing things as not having an effect on the world, but not taking action in different situations can have just as far-reaching good and bad consequences as actually doing something.  It all depends on the context of the situation.  Inaction is, therefore, also an action.
