Fact is Stranger Than Fiction

There's so many times that I read the news and historical accounts of various events and people and it's just like...you really can't make up anything more outlandish than reality, can you?  I mean, you can't even put a lot of this stuff in fiction unless you want your stories to sound garishly excessive and unrealistic.

That's definitely true of recent events. Lately, I've had the sense that a lot of what 45 & other hypercorrupt rulers do and say is something pulled out of a bad Stephen King novel.

Yeah, I definitely feel like I'm living in some kind of twisted horror story.
