I Should Make Myself a Journal

I think maybe I need to start a journal up again or something.  Just start a file on my computer called 'journal' and write in that from time to time.  When I was younger it was really just the default that my writing wasn't going to be seen by anyone else.  I think that's the only way to actually develop ideas in writing--when it isn't immediately available to the public eye.  Especially for me with how much confrontation avoidance is a factor in how I express myself, but I think almost everyone self-censors to some degree when they're writing for an audience.

Anyway, as I build up that collection of writing, there could be things I selectively choose to share to a wider audience.  Yes, I think this is one thing that could help with my writing issues.
