I Love Fig Newtons, Except for the Fig Kind

I think I like every other fruit flavor of newton better than fig newtons, which I low-level dislike. And that's weird because I love dried figs.

LOL. Apparently we're mirror universe twins on the tastebud front, because I love fig newtons and low-level dislike all the other flavors - which is weird given how much I love strawberries and such.

That's intriguing! Perhaps we are both noticing something different about the fig newtons vs the other newtons, but you enjoy whatever it is that makes the fig newtons distinct and dislike the ones that don't have that quality, whereas I dislike it and find the ones lacking it appealing.

What an unusual snack!
