Railings, The Lack Thereof

Theorizing that in the galaxy far, far away they never invented railings. The idea just never occurred to anyone, ever. It's so tragic that falling off walkways is such a common hazard, but whatever can we do about it? No one knows.

The GFFA's tiny catwalks with no railings (or extremely flimsy railings when they exist at all) are quite something LOL. Apparently nobody in universe is afraid of heights, either!

Well, yes, being set a long, long time ago presumably means that the events of Star Wars occur before the existence of OSHA, but also the fact that they are set far, far away means that any implementation of OSHA here is not casually linked to the existence of OSHA in the galaxy far, far away.

In this essay, I will in fact show that in that far flung galactic disk, they have *still* not implemented OSHA and likely never will...
