Fake Europe

I had a dream that I went to Europe and I was in Spain and then my dream decided that it didn't need to follow real life geography so Portugal was an island off the coast of Spain and I swam through the ocean to get to Portugal.  When I got there I was worried I didn't go through the right process to enter another country but then my subconscious vaguely remembered that Portugal was in the Schengen area even though it failed geography so I was fine.

There was no pandemic in fake Europe, so I stayed in a fancy hotel in Portugal.  Very nice, vivid imagery in the dream.  Very much enjoyed the sequence of just casually swimming through the ocean to travel between countries.

I don't think I said anything publicly about the time I dreamt that an online friend from the DC area had moved much further inland into Virginia and I thought in the dream I'd go visit her ...as an extension of driving to Louisville.

Now, I live near the northern ~corner of Kentucky. Louisville is further west than I am. Virginia, though? Virginia is east. (ironically including, though the dream did not, West Virginia)

Yeah, I hadn't heard you mention that one before. I don't usually dream of real places at all excepting the inside of certain buildings, so this dream was unusual. But like your dream, it seems to have rearranged geography haha.

Yeah, it was pretty nice! Portugal made for a really quaint island. It's like that dream was the vacation package of dreams!
