While I've gotten mostly good commenters on my fics thus far, I have occassionally gotten commenters who seemed like they didn't even want to discuss problems they had with the story so much as just bash me.  

Because I am an incredibly spiteful person, what happens when I get malicious commenters like that, is I think 'oh, you didn't like it when I posted that, did you' and feel an even greater resolve to write and post more of the story for those who are enjoying it.
