Working On: Ch 20 of Heart of Shadow

I have a full draft for this now.  But this chapter does give me some anxiety, because it's definitely one of the more complicated ones. A lot going on here.  And it seems understandable to me, but that doesn't mean I've actually successfully communicated what I need to through the words in the chapter.  As an author, it's easy to fill in things in one's head that don't actually get conveyed by the text. 

I also don't want to insult the reader's intelligence by spelling everything out in 20pt bold font, but it's a difficult balancing act that is impossible to ever entirely win because some readers will pick things up right away, and some will not pick them up at all.
