Covid Vent

Just going to put my covid vent under a cut so people don't have to look at it if they don't want to:
Glad I've pretty much gotten used to taking the different pandemic measures because it sounds to me like the people in charge are just going to pretend it's over 'for the economy' and 'so people can get on with their deaths lives'. Anyway, I really don't see these variants going anywhere anytime soon. Guess we can all see our life expectancy plummet when covid long-term kills most older people because the people who could have stopped it in its tracks preferred to destroy the future to make an extra buck today. Guess we should've expected that behavior given how those in power are responding to climate change.
