Feel like I see a lot of situations of 'choose which side you're on' where no matter which side someone picks, it's the side of big business, or the side of the dominant society, because though the choices may be in opposition with each other, they all actually work in different ways to amplify the powerful or entrenched societal structures.  I think a lot of the time, all the dominant narratives are like this, and the only way to break away from that paradigm is to realize that the two or three options that we see all the time are nearly always going to be distorted in this way, and to try to look for other alternatives.
