Political Media Literacy

I think the barest minimum literacy for information about politics and political figures requires an understanding of the political biases of sources.  Also the understanding that any analysis of a source as unbiased is 1.) wrong and 2.) shows a lack of understanding of political bias and how it works.  In addition, it's not enough to be able to recognize distortions of fact (though this is also endemic in political bias), one must also recognize what narrative is being constructed about an event or person with those facts.
