Thoughts on the Word Organic as Applied to Food

The term 'organic' as applied to food is indeed very silly, but what I think is many times not understood is that it is a very silly word with a specific legal meaning. This is not like the scenario with the term 'natural' where any company is allowed to slap that label on regardless of the contents of their product.
