You know, I don’t think there’s a problem with asking about the implications of technology on human thought and interaction, and I actually think in certain respects Bradbury was even right (modern media does encourage sound bites). But I think he chose the wrong angle to approach that theme from.

A book on burning books is of course going to be interpreted as containing themes of censorship. There was just no way he was going to be able to divorce that image from that theme.
