Socialization 101?

unspeakablehorrorI need socializing classes, but I don't even know of anything like that. I'm not talking about public speaking, which I'm actually okay with now (due in part to one very helpful speech class I took when I was younger). What I need is stuff geared towards interpersonal communication. Things like how to determine when and how to compromise, how to deal with conflict in a productive way, how to deal with...feelings.
I feel like there's not enough formal learning material for socializing, it's just like 'oh, you either know it or you don't' which I think is nonsense. This stuff is knowledge, there's no reason it can't be taught or learned. There's a personality and motivational aspect to actually applying it, I'm sure, but I don't believe that it somehow lacks significant learnable components or that it becomes somehow impossible to improve at once you reach adulthood. Especially since I actually have improved in some very small ways at such things as an adult. I just really want to expand on that. It's important to me to improve at this.
