Social Media Thoughts

I don't really mind the old fashioned interface here and if it comes down to it I have no issue using straight-up HTML if it means I can finally escape endless annoying adverts. I do think that it could be cool if ease of use for this website could be increased here since it would maybe convince more people (that I know) to migrate here but it doesn't bother me personally. Tumblr is getting ridiculous.
I'm going to find out more how the image stuff works but for now I guess I'll put my pictures on Twitter. I'm not going to make either this blog or my Twitter private, though I may make certain posts private if they're more addressed to specific people here. But I want to make it easy for people I knew on Tumblr to see my writing and images even if they don't migrate to here or Twitter or Pillowfort.
One of the reasons I never made my Tumblr blog private was because that would have siloed it to the Tumblr app and I wanted people who were not affiliated with Tumblr to be able to read my thoughts. It's not like Tumblr's privacy options actually provided the kind of privacy I would want anyway lol.
