Loftwings and Demons

So a recent Pillowfort post made me aware of a concrit fest called Concrit-X here on Dreamwidth. Signups start June 24 and the feedback period runs from July 3 - July 24.  The requirement is to do at least two concrit of at least 300 words each.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to participate yet as 600 total words in 21 days can, at times, be a lot to expect from me.  I know the length of some of my AO3 works makes me look like a liar on this, but I just. can't. be. consistent.  Sometimes it's no problem, and sometimes every word takes the utmost effort.

But it might be easier for me to give 600 words total of critique than to write a story.  Maybe.  I would also be submitting my stories for concrit if I do this since maybe I'll get some ideas I can use for how I can improve my future writing.  I've certainly tried to incorporate feedback I've received in the past into my writing.

Anyway, for anyone who's interested in concrit on their works, just thought I'd point this fest out.
