Homemade Marinara Sauce, Fancy Variety
Apr. 27th, 2022 02:21 amI made spaghetti and my homemade marinara sauce. Put a whole bunch of chopped garlic, crimini mushrooms, and the fennel I had in it after sauteeing all that in olive oil. It took a long time to chop the garlic. But worth it. I love fresh garlic in marinara sauce.
I just finished a plate of it and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Marinara sauce is one of the first savory foods I learned how to cook (along with pasta of course), and when I want to make it fancy I chop up a bunch of vegetables. Especially garlic. I love garlic. I just wish it was easier to chop. Chopping the garlic was what took most of the chopping time. The fennel and mushrooms are a breeze in comparison.
