Mountain goats are actually not goats.
Mountain goats are not in the same genus as goats. In the bovidae family, mountain goats are associated with antelopes, gazelles and cattle.

Remarks
Mountain goats are sure-footed climbers and have specially adapted hooves for climbing in rough, slippery terrain. Mountain goats are among the most charismatic species and inhabit one of the most spectacular landscapes on earth.

all broken links as sourcesan external links section separate from the references that is made up of all broken links. It uses a broken link to what I presume may have been an earlier version of the Alaska website for mountain goats, as well as a broken link to another government site. I'm not sure if this is some common Wikipedia thing or something atypical.ETA: I checked several other Wikipedia pages, which all have an External Links section, so it appears to be a common section to add, though I don't know what logic goes into choosing the links there, and judging by the state of those links on the Mountain Goat page, it may not be receiving much maintenance.
