Palpatine in IX

I'm still like, not entirely certain what angle the IX movie will take with Palpatine.  While it's been heavily implied by the higher-ups in Lucasfilm that he'll return in this movie, there's a lot of ways one could potentially interpret that.  They wouldn't have to literally bring him back to life (or even as a Force Ghost) to be telling the truth about that.  Could still mean something else, like an extended flashback of some sort.  Then again, maybe he's just been taking an extended vacation somewhere this entire time.  Or maybe we'll get tacky Palpatine clones (I am ready!).

I am SO excited for whatever they choose to do with Palpatine its UNBELIEVABLE. He's such a great villain, I'm honestly the most excited to see him on screen than anything else lol.

Yeah, he's such a fun villain and the idea that he's not done wreaking havok is incredibly exciting to me! I'm just also completed baffled! And I don't want to assume too much about what it all means! I don't want to get too invested in a possibly erroneous interpretation and be disappointed if it doesn't pan out. But it's fun that all these wild theories are even on the table based only on a short teaser and a few of the typically vague statements coming from Lucasfilm!

I definitely think giving him an important role in this film could help tie this trilogy more closely to the other two. Just utterly shocked by the fact that one of my personal faves is involved! He still has more evil to share with others! I'm so happy!
