I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this series.  I'm very curious where it's going to go.  I take issue with a lot of the way that the Rebellion is handled, but I do like to see things that explore rebellion characters.  That was one of the things I enjoyed about the Rebels show (despite my many complaints about that series, haha).  Whatever else happens, I also expect the Andor show to be somewhat tonally different from Rebels.

I like both the Palpatine design from The Clone Wars and the one from Rebels.  I think the two different designs from Rebels are some of the best cgi in the series.  They're also completely distinct from the designs used in The Clone Wars, which was interesting to see.  Of course they had to redesign him since Rebels has a different character design style than The Clone Wars, and since the 'real' version of him in Rebels has significantly different facial features.  I feel Palpatine model got one of the best redesigns.  I complain about Ezra's hair a lot, but otherwise the Ghost crew is well designed, and it's the characters from The Clone Wars that seem to suffer the most in their Rebels-era redesigns.  Palpatine is a notable exception, though.

Also, I wonder if Palpatine's benevolent good guy look is something he had pre-designed or if it was made specially for the occassion.  Obviously he doesn't bother with it all the time, but the entire thing including the clothes are fake, so he must have had to design it first.  Does he have multiple outfits for this, or just the one? Am just imagining the Emperor with some version of Nintendo Mii/Sims character design software tweaking the design for this.

Sooooo...I recently got the chance to compare the Amazon streamed Season 2 of Rebels and the DVD set of Rebels Season 2.  And in addition to the fact that Amazon price-gouged people who bought the second season of Rebels by splitting it into two parts, they're also missing the first two episodes of the season!  These are called The Seige of Lothal Part I and The Seige of Lothal Part II.  They're really quite vital to the season, and I am absolutely baffled as to why they were not included.  Anyway, just an fyi!
